Her sculptural paintings explore the

metamorphic qualities of clay - how it can

be exposed to extreme environmental

pressures yet become enduring and even

beautiful.

She considers the presence of this

metaphor in humanity, voicing our capacity to transform. She uses colour to

convey us into the moment, emphasised

by a sculptural canvas that echoes

natural phenomena, such as mineral deposits in stone or

the ripples in shale of an ancient riverbed, capturing deep time.
